LCMS Student Concert - Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
Audition participants will be informed by email within 7 days after the auditions whether they have been accepted to play in the Concert.
The concert (free admission with a goodwill offering) will take place at Merging Waters United Church, 24 Maple Avenue, Sainte-Anne-de‑Bellevue.
At the end of the Concert, prizes will be awarded to the outstanding students of the following: keyboard, strings, winds and ensembles in both Junior and Senior age groups.
Please note that students who have previously been awarded the First Prize in their age category and instrument group or the Lakeshore Chamber Orchestra Performance Award will not be eligible for a second such prize. They are, however, eligible to play again in the Concert and are encouraged to do so.
A First Prize allocated to a student following the auditions can only be awarded if the student actually performs at the Concert; if not, they will forfeit the monetary value of their prize, unless they are prevented from performing for an emergency reason.
Parents are asked to let us know if they do not wish their child(ren) to be present in any of our published photos.
Lakeshore Chamber Music Orchestra Performance Award
Please note that at the end of the Student Concert on April 6, the Lakeshore Chamber Orchestra will present their Performance Award. The winner(s) will be invited to play as soloist(s) with the Orchestra in one of the Orchestra's concerts during the 2025‑26 Season.
The concert (free admission with a goodwill offering) will take place at Merging Waters Union Church, 24 Maple Avenue, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue.
At the end of the Concert, prizes will be awarded to the outstanding students of the following: keyboard, strings, winds and ensembles in both Junior and Senior age groups.
The Award is open to all keyboard, string and wind instrument players as well as to ensembles made up of string or wind players. Representatives of the Orchestra will meet with the winner(s), and with his/her teacher once the Award is announced to select the composition to be played with the Orchestra.
Teachers are encouraged to discuss the Award with their students. Those students who wish to be considered for the Award need to be available to perform with the Lakeshore Chamber Orchestra either in the fall of 2025 or spring of 2026. They should indicate their interest on the Audition Application Form.
We look forward to receiving your applications.
